Warranty

This limited warranty applies to eligible Crock-Pot branded products and is provided by Sunbeam Products, Inc. for qualifying purchases made in the United States and by Newell Brands Canada ULC for qualifying purchases completed in Canada. The warranty is designed to support the original purchaser who uses the product for personal residential purposes. Coverage is available only for eligible Crock-Pot products purchased within the United States or Canada and applies when the appliance has been used under normal household conditions and maintained according to recommended operating, cleaning, and care instructions.

The purpose of this warranty is to provide protection against manufacturing defects involving materials or workmanship. If an eligible Crock-Pot product experiences a covered issue during normal home use, customers may request assistance through the warranty service process. Warranty coverage begins on the later of the original purchase date or the date the product was delivered and continues for one year. This coverage reflects Crock-Pot’s commitment to producing dependable kitchen products that meet expectations for quality, durability, and everyday performance.

Warranty service is available only for products purchased through approved sales channels. Customers who purchase Crock-Pot products directly from the company or through authorized retail partners may qualify for coverage. Purchases made through unauthorized sellers, unverified online sources, or third-party marketplaces may not be eligible because the company cannot confirm the product’s origin, condition, storage history, or whether it was handled according to approved standards. Customers are encouraged to verify seller authorization before purchasing to help maintain access to warranty benefits.

This warranty covers only defects that result from the manufacturing process. It does not apply to problems caused by normal product aging, routine wear, minor appearance changes, or conditions that do not affect the operation of the appliance. Damage caused by improper use, accidents, misuse, neglect, failure to follow operating instructions, or incorrect maintenance practices is not covered. Customers are responsible for using their Crock-Pot products properly and following all recommended safety and care guidance.

Coverage does not include damage related to incorrect electrical use, including connection to unsuitable power sources, improper voltage, or incorrect current requirements. Products that have been altered, modified, opened, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized individuals or repair providers may not qualify for warranty protection. The warranty also excludes damage caused by events outside normal control, including natural disasters, fires, floods, storms, or similar circumstances. Products used for business purposes, commercial operations, rental services, or applications beyond intended household use are not covered. Lost or stolen products are also excluded from warranty protection.

Customers should avoid attempting unauthorized repairs or replacing internal components without approval. Using non-approved replacement parts, making modifications, or arranging outside repairs may affect product safety and can result in a warranty claim being denied. This warranty does not provide coverage for regular cleaning, maintenance, replacement of parts affected by normal use, or service requirements unrelated to a manufacturing defect. Crock-Pot is not responsible for issues caused by repair work performed outside approved service procedures.

To begin a warranty request, customers must contact the appropriate support team and provide the information required to review the claim. Documentation may include proof of purchase, delivery details, product information, and a description of the reported problem. Customers may also be asked to provide images showing the product and the issue being experienced. Providing complete information allows the warranty team to evaluate the situation more efficiently and determine the appropriate next step.

In certain situations, customers may be required to return the product for inspection before a final decision is made. When a return is necessary, Crock-Pot support will provide instructions and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number. This authorization number must be included with the returned package to ensure proper identification and processing. Customers should not send products back without receiving prior approval. Any return shipment must follow the instructions provided by the warranty team, and shipping arrangements will be managed according to applicable warranty procedures.

If a product is confirmed to contain a defect covered under this limited warranty, Crock-Pot will provide a replacement product as the available warranty solution. When the original model is no longer available, the company may provide a comparable replacement with similar features and functionality. Replacement of the product represents the primary remedy offered under this warranty unless additional rights are required under applicable laws.

This document represents the complete limited warranty coverage available for qualifying Crock-Pot products. No additional express warranties are provided beyond the conditions described in this agreement. Where permitted by law, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose, are limited to the same one-year period provided under this warranty. Certain states, provinces, or jurisdictions may provide additional consumer protections and may limit the ability to restrict certain warranty rights or exclude specific types of damages.

Customers should understand that this warranty provides specific legal protections, while additional rights may apply depending on their location. The terms described here replace any previous warranty statements that may appear in product packaging, instruction materials, or related documents. These warranty terms are effective beginning July 19, 2024.

Customers who need additional information, a printed version of the warranty, or assistance understanding coverage requirements may contact Crock-Pot customer support. Information collected during the warranty process is used to review claims, provide service assistance, and manage warranty-related activities in accordance with applicable privacy practices. Through this warranty program, Crock-Pot continues to provide customers with clear guidelines, dependable support options, and solutions designed to maintain confidence in the quality, safety, and performance of its products.
